- Identify and name one’s own feelings and being emotionally aware of it for example; you are feeling tensed in case of taking a decision but you are aware of that particular emotion that you are tensed.
- The ability to harness those emotions and apply them to tasks like thinking and problem solving.
Label the Emotion > Apply them > By solving one’s own problem
- The ability to manage emotions which include both regulating one’s own emotion when necessary and helping others to do the same.
Moreover, emotional intelligence doesn’t only limit controlling and understanding one’s own emotion but it also extends to understand other’s emotion too.

Once we are able to understand our own emotion intelligence, we can be happier, joyful, satisfied and content in our lives. For example:
If you are frustrated you know that you are frustrated and you know how to come out of that frustration. If you are happy with your present life, you know how to continue being happy by overcoming all sorts of obstacles in day to day life by solving the problems.

For example: At the workplace you are facing a lot of pressures from your works besides that also getting scolded for some mistakes in the given tasks but you can handle the pressure and try to perform your work perfectly at the end of the day.
